The party gets a reserved section in the theater, with a server 30 minutes prior to show time – this is your party time to mingle, present awards, etc. The theater is dismissed directly after the movie to prepare for the next group coming in. You may be in the theater with the general public; a private show is not guaranteed.
We can only guarantee seats for the number of people listed in the final headcount given to the Events Office. If we are open to the public at the time of your show, 15 minutes prior to show time, any unoccupied seats will be released to the public.
A 50% deposit is required for groups of 25 or more; everything else is paid for the day of the party. Payment by cash or credit card is preferred; no personal checks are accepted and Cinema Cafe does not invoice.
Package prices do NOT include tax and gratuity. Those factors are calculated the day of the party, and added to the bill then.
We provide generic paper products, but guests are welcome to bring in themed items such as themed plates, placemats, etc. Balloons are not permitted due to the height of our ceilings and visual obstruction.
The Events Office receives movie schedules on Wednesday for the week starting that Friday. Movie weeks run Friday to Thursday. We cannot guarantee movie selections and time before that time. Please see below for specific details on party time availability based on the location you would like to book at.
All-You-Can-Eat Appetizers packages can be added to the basic package for a greater party experience. Appetizer choices include: Chili & Cheese Nachos, Boneless Wings, Breadsticks, Mozzarella Sticks, & Tossed Salad.
Party Availability:
- No parties may be booked on opening day (or opening days, if a movie is released earlier in the week)
- During Summer, Cinema Cafe cannot book Office Parties to start after 6pm
- Parties can be booked at any regular scheduled showtime or during the hours Cinema Cafe is not open to the public.
- Fri-Sun parties are NOT available at Kemps River
